What water bills have passed in the Legislature, what bills are pending, and how will they impact the Prescott region? AZ Sen. Ken Bennett and Rep. Selina Bliss, both representing Legislative District 1, discussed the status of current water and water-related bills in the Legislature. After summaries from our legislators, CWAG moderated a conversation with some prepared questions, and then took questions from the audience.

The Request to Speak at the Arizona Legislature (RTS) system was mentioned during the program.  We recommend you ask Civic Engagement Beyond Voting (https://cebv.us) to create a Request to Speak account for you: https://tinyurl.com/rtssignmeup. (Otherwise, you will need to make a trip to the capitol to activate your account.)

By filling out this form, you allow Civic Engagement Beyond Voting to create an account for you to use the Request to Speak (RTS) system. This will allow you to make your voice heard by supporting or opposing legislation while it's being heard in committees. We will add your name to our newsletter to receive tips and recommendations for RTS positions, and invaluable information about legislative activities. Thank you for using democracy!
